Winter time means Crafting time
Keeping bees has opened a lot of crafting opportunities.
Lots of honey means lots of honey wine. It's fairly simple to make, and storage only makes it better.
One of my favorite things to make comes from the beeswax we collected from the honey harvest.
Lip balm! This actually makes a pretty decent hand balm as well, and I use it for my dry cuticles as well as any rough patches on my elbows and knees.
And of course, having fresh honey is never a bad thing. I've been mixing it into my tea, my breads, even making honey mustard with it.
