Mitchell and I scrounged these small blue metal barrels about 2 years ago with the intent of making a small cooking stove out of them for when he is up camping at Many Hues Acres.
I was off this weekend and Leah was away for the day so we started.
This is our version of the rocket stove

Cut off the top

| Supplies | |

Packing sand all around the pipes

Boiling water with nothing but a bit of kindling

Decided to cook some lunch

Best tasting bacon ever

Eggs cooked up real quick

Next step was to make the cooking grills
|

Bottom grill

Top grill

Big enough for the kettle

And a frying pan
BBQ Pit
We got the stand made up for the BBQ at Mitchell's camp site
